Your journey will start when our driver picks you up in a private A/C car from your accommodation in Makadi Bay. You will then be joined by a private tour guide to view some of the earliest structures ever built, including:
Giza Pyramids Complex
The mystical Giza Pyramids Complex, which was built in 2600 BC to serve as a stairway to the skies, allows us to properly analyze the divine eternal inheritance of the ancient Egyptian 4th dynasty.
The Great Pyramid
The Great Pyramid of Giza, an enduring symbol of Egypt’s golden fields, was constructed as Pharaoh Khufu’s tomb (2609 BC – 2584 BC). It was created by Heminunu, his chief architect and chancellor. It stands 147 meters (481 feet) tall and contains a magical hall that connects to the king’s and queen’s chambers. The complete pyramid, which faces all four cardinal directions, is made up of 2.3 million limestone blocks weighing a combined six million tons.
The Great Sphinx
The renowned Sphinx is the most famous man-made sculpture on the planet, with the face of Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC) perched atop the body of a massive prehistoric lion to symbolize his power and wisdom. The Dream Steele of Pharaoh Thutmose IV was placed between his paws under his face in 1407 BC to demonstrate his unending power. The Sphinx is 20 meters (66 feet) high, 73 meters (240 feet) long, and 19 meters (62 feet) broad.
The Valley Temple
King Khafre built the remarkably well-preserved Mythical Valley Temple of Immortality and Purification in order to perform the ceremony that would make the royal bodies of the 4th dynasty immortal by the opening of the mouth.
Lunch Time
Lunch will be served at a Pyramid/Nile View restaurant, and then you will move to visit:
The Egyptian Museum
To demonstrate the tremendous royal wealth and skill of the ancient Egyptian painters and architects who were able to serve for more than 5000 years, the Egyptian Museum was built in 1901 AD in the heart of golden Cairo.
Your day-long car trip from Makadi Bay to Cairo will then come to a conclusion, and we’ll take you back to your hotel in a private A/C vehicle.
